With thick-bearded gobblers canvasing across lush agricultural land, Missouri is one of the top 3 turkey hunting locations in the United States. Prepare yourself for some of the most intense turkey hunting you may have ever experienced. With a healthy population of Eastern Wild Turkeys, here at Northwest Missouri Bucks & Beards Outfitters we are nestled amongst some of the best hunting land in Missouri. Northern Missouri toms can be bruisers, comparable to turkeys found in neighboring Iowa. Many of our mature gobblers can weigh from 20 to 26 pounds.

Our private farms support numerous healthy flocks that thrive across the river bottoms, to agriculture fields, to pastures, all with suitable roosting in nearby wooded areas. We have a wide variety of turkey hunting setups that will accommodate our clients. But most impressive - aside from the scenery - is that we proudly boast a 85%+ average success/opportunity rate over the past 5 years for legal birds on our 3-day fully guided turkey hunts. 

Our hunts begin well before sunrise after coffee and a hot breakfast. In 2026 we will once again follow the State of Missouri's past 2023 legal hunting hours by managing the landscape pressure and be out of the fields/timber by 1:00pm. In this past 2025 Spring season nearly 90%+ our our harvests came well before 11:00am, a result consistent with a variety of state and national research reports.

Hunt Terms

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking and reciept of invoice. The remaining 50% is due upon arrival. If the deposit not recieved within 5 business days the hunt will be cancelled.
• Hunts include two meals (breakfast and supper).
• We provide space and refrigeration for your lunch items/beverages and can refer several restaurants within minutes of the main lodge.
• Extra days can be added at a pro-rated price (only if space is available)
• Our hunts begin each day before sunrise and end at 1:00pm.
• Arrival at camp should be scheduled between 3 and 6pm the day before your hunt. Check out time is between 1 and 3pm on the last day of the hunt.

Discounts Available

• 50% Discount - Children under the age of 16 (qualify for a Missouri youth license/tags)  with a paid adult for unguided hunts only
• 50% Discount - For spouses hunting with a paid adult for unguided hunts only
• We also welcome non-hunting guests for $450/turkey hunt (pending space available)

Missouri Bird Limits:

• 1 bird the first week
• 2 birds the second and third week
• One bird per day
